In this post and in this series we will be talking about how to make more money on X. My account is a smaller account on X, but I do receive a bi-weekly pay out of around $30 right now. I will be using these strategies to chart my growth while sharing them here. My goal is for everyone who is interested in growing their X account to make more money on X after reading this series of posts. My last post on how to make money was a joke, but it was also true. Getting Monetized
The monetization numbers have changed since I got monetized. Now you have to get 500 premium subscribers to follow you as well.
As you can see above to get monetized and start making money you have to be a premium member on X yourself, have 5 million organic impressions within the last 3 months and have at least 500 premium followers. You also need to be from a supported country and be compliant with the X agreement.
What is an organic impression?
To answer this question we asked Grok what an organic impression was:
“An organic impression on X is defined as the number of times a post appears on users’ screens without any paid promotion. This means that the view counts are from natural visibility in users’ feeds, search results, or hashtag pages, not from advertisements or boosted posts. Organic impressions essentially measure how often your content is seen by users in a non-paid, natural way.”
The definition above highlights why the reply guy strategy is so effective in getting impressions. With the reply guy strategy you want to leave meaningful replies to popular accounts who you are trying to emulate. Everyone wants to be their own person on X, but the reality is that if you don’t have any followers then no one will ever see your content. Achieving a high number of followers is a grind and very few people are willing to go through it. That is why if you are able to get there, you will be rewarded.
The Reply Guy Strategy
We asked Grok about the replies.
Keep in mind that you want the reply to be on topic to the original post. You don’t just want to put a smiley face emoji or something unrelated because those replies will likely not be seen. Time is also an important factor, you want to be one of the first ones to reply to your large accounts so turn the notifications on for the accounts you want to reply to most.
If you look at the numbers from my reply above, I have 5,000 views off Roger Stone’s original post. I currently receive around 100,000 views a day on average, so I need to get 20 replies to do this well in order to hit that number.
When Should I reply?
You should reply as early as possible with some meaningful content. My account is focused on gaining followers who lean right and support Donald Trump. This is why I am following and have notifications on for Roger Stone.
Make sure you have the bell clicked on the accounts you are interested in replying to so you are notified when they post. Keep replying to the accounts, and you will notice that people start following you off of your replies.
Keep Your Head Up and Keep Going!
The main thing is to keep going and be consistent. It does take a lot of time and effort to build your following this way. You may get lucky and Elon or some other large account re-posts your reply, and this will help you out a lot, but if that doesn’t happen, continue to grind out replies. Focus on your own posts less because they won’t get seen even if they are a banger of a post.
