This sentiment is echoed in posts suggesting that there’s a need for reform to address these issues. There’s a narrative that companies are posting job listings with no intention of filling them with domestic talent. They instead prefer using the H-1B program to hire foreign workers.

Multiple Issues in once
I think that some of the issues in this debate are being swirled up into one. There is obvious fraud in the H-1B visa program. Another issue with this is the outsourcing of jobs from America to other places that President Trump has promised to stop. All of these issues are lumped into this H-1B issue even though they don’t all mean the same thing. It is good that we can have these discussions on a place like X, and the topic is trending now as well. As I discussed in my latest Making Money on X post however, this issue now can get people blocked. Which will decrease their reach per Elon’s latest announcement.
