    Today, Elon announced an update that can damage your reach if you are not careful on X. This is in the midst of the H-1B visa fight that is going on right now on X. There has been a fight on X regarding H-1B visas and the immigration policy that the Trump administration should pursue. Elon has announced a new policy that can be abused by large coordinated groups. This is the post from Elon Musk today:

    What does this mean for you?

    What this means for you is that if you are trying to grow your account by replying to big accounts that you might not agree with, you run the risk of getting blocked by those people. If you are blocked by people deemed credible by X, then you run the risk of having your reach limited. Recently I have tried to start more conversations with people whom I disagree with. This could cause problems for me in the future if multiple accounts who X deems credible begin to block me simply because they don’t want to hear what I have to say.

    How Can you Avoid this?

    You can avoid this punishment by engaging with people who you agree with. I know that this is ridiculous for a social media site. This seems counter productive to me, and I am sure you will agree with me as well. When you are trying to grow your account, it is already hard enough to build your account, so now we know that this is one more landmine to watch out for when posting on X.
